A few grants covering living expenses at Giens will be available for graduate students. In order to preserve the informal character of the Colloque and to stimulate presentation of innovative ideas, no proceedings will be published. Review talks are planned with ample time scheduled for discussion. These reviews will be followed by shorter contributions presenting the latest results. We encourage you to prepare contributions in the above-mentioned areas of physics. The organizing committee will select the contributions for oral presentation. A number of presentations will be allotted to contributions given by graduate students. The morning and late-afternoon sessions will give plenty of time for presentations. To favour the informal exchanges in a relaxed atmosphere afternoons will be free of talks. As usual, we also ask the interested persons to stay for the full 5 days of the workshop, in order to increase the interactions among participants.
