Day1 theory & experiment @ SPIRAL2 Phase1
Dear Colleague,
Let us remind you that the “Day1 experiment and theory @SPIRAL2” meeting for discussion between theoreticians and experimentalists will take place at GANIL , June 24-25, 2010.
Please find here some information concerning the organization of these two days.
June 24-25 (tentative schedule: from 9am June 24 to 4pm June 25)
- Presentation of the updated Letters of Intent (LoI) of Phase1 SPIRAL2 (Open session of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC)). Everybody is warmly invited to listen to all these presentations.
- “Day1 experiment and theory @SPIRAL2” discussion meeting about the LoI.
Everybody is invited to present with a few slides (around 15’ talk + 10’ discussion) calculations/and/or/theoretical developments related to physics cases of LoI:
1) Study of ion-ion collisions
2) Production and spectroscopy of heavy and superheavy elements
3) Spectroscopy of N=Z nuclei
a) Isomers (spin, spectroscopic and quadrupole moments)
b) Shell structure
c) Super allowed beta decay and exotic decay modes
4) Shell Structure of n-rich nuclei
5) Fission fragment distributions (yields, and angular distributions) and neutron emission
6) Cross section measurements ((n,xn), p and d activation)
Please clearly indicate in your presentation to which topic(s) you want to contribute. We expect that at the end of the meeting, for each topic a working group will be created.

before June 3.
