In an experiment performed in July 2018, we investigate the octupole correlation in the neutron deficient 112Xe populated by fusion-evaporation. This nucleus is an ideal laboratory to investigate the collective behavior of nuclei above 100Sn. The octupole correlation in this region, which has been measured to be one of the strongest ones in the whole Segre chart cannot be theoretically reproduced so far by state-of-the-art mean field calculations. We have measure the transition probabilities depopulating the 2+, 4+, and 5- states from the precise measurement of their lifetime and branching ratios using the plunger technique at the AGATA-NEDA-DIAMANT setup.
