LEA NuAG
European Associated Laboratory « Nuclear Astrophysics and Grids » (LEA NuAG) was created on May16, 2011 by CNRS, on behalf of the University Paris Sud XI, the IPN Orsay, the « Institut des Grilles » and the « Centre de Calcul de l’IN2P3 », by GANIL and by the Institutes of Physics (IoP) and Nuclear Physics (NPI) of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASCR).
This agreement will allow, for a period of four years, pursuing several common research topics including nuclear astrophysics, technical developments with NFS and SPIRAL2 beams and optimization of networks of computational grids for scientific data processing .
The management of the LEA NuAG is ensured by two co-directors: François De Oliveira Santos for France and Jiři Chudoba for Czech Republic.
