Nucleon-nucleon correlations in the atomic nucleus

Anna Corsi (Nuclear Physics Division of CEA/IRFU, Saclay, France)

11h00 GANIL seminar room (105)

How to probe nucleon-nucleon correlations beyond the independent particle approximation, and how to interpret the experimental results in those terms, is a subject of debate in the nuclear physics community. In this talk two exemples at very different energy regimes will be presented: a study of dineutron correlation in the borromean halo nuclei 11Li and 14Be performed at RIBF (RIKEN), and a new project to probe Short-Range Correlations in exotic nuclei, recently founded by an ANR grant.
