IDEAAL at GANIL
A new European project, IDEAAL, starts in January 2017 at GANIL.
On 26 August 2016, the European Commission selected the project proposal "IDEAAL". This is a very special case because it is a project designed to develop the organization of GANIL and to open it internationally. Indeed, its name means "International Development of gAnil-spirAL2" (IDEAAL).
IDEAAL is coordinated by GANIL and our partners in this adventure are CNRS, CEA, Nucleopolis in France as well as IFJ PAN in Poland and GSI in Germany. We will work together to strengthen and expand GANIL's partnerships, welcoming users, collaborating with industry, and communicating.
IDEAAL starts on 1 January 2017 for a period of three years. The total budget is € 3,883 million, including € 2,254 million for GANIL.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 730989.
