The next GANIL PAC meeting will be held on March 11th and 12th, 2010. The deadline to submit proposals is January 25th, 2010.
In addition to the proposals for the next period of beam time, the PAC will also examine Letters of Intent related to new beams of SPIRAL, which will become available after the shutdown planned for SPIRAL2 Phase I construction.
These LoIs may cover a broad range of elements which will be produced by 1+/N+ charge breeding, either with the compact Nanonake solution or a more conventional 1+/N+ method.
The result of this Call will be used as a guideline to define the priorities for the ion sources to be installed in the SPIRAL production cave.
